Like so many Arizonans, I am a transplant from the Midwest who has lived in southern Arizona for 40 years.  I have had the joy of raising three wonderful sons while managing a family business and then returning to the University of Arizona, Eller College of Business to complete a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration and Policy, and a master’s degree in Gerontology.  For the past 10 years, I have worked in the public sector focusing on programs for older adults.  During that time, I have often thought of how fortunate I was to have grown up in a multi-generational home with my five siblings, parents and grandparents.
